Autologic Performance Tunes are optimised for European driving conditions, allowing extra vehicle performance to be 'unlocked', whilst still complying with UK emissions laws.

Fault Diagnosis

The average family car is now more complex than ever before, with up to 20 microprocessors to continually monitor and, if needed, adjust the operation of the car while you drive. When you bring your car to us with a problem, to analyse the symptoms and identify the root cause we use the latest diagnostic equipment to ‘speak’ to your vehicle’s microprocessors to find out exactly what the fault is. The process we use is as follows:

Discuss the symptoms fully with you (to establish, for example, if the fault occurs when the vehicle is hot or cold or both), and also find out any relevant history such as the vehicle having been to another garage, etc.
Extract global vehicle DTCs (data trouble codes) for evaluation
Investigate the faults with the appropriate test, for example conducting an induction and pressure circuit integrity test using a smoke meter
Consult systems schematics, identifying and replacing defective components and resetting adaption values
Test drive your vehicle and carry out further code reading tests to verify fault DTCs have been eradicated
